Becareful the monkeys! The monkeys are wild animals please keep out them and do not bring any eating and any plastic bags come in the museum, is that the monkeys will attack to you and make you danger.
Dear family and friends,

The highlight of October was taking a one week vacation in Southern Thailand at  a very family friendly retreat center.  There we enjoyed the beach, the monkeys, and meeting new friends from all over the world.  We stayed with families from Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Singapore and Switzerland working in Thailand, China, Nepal and Cambodia.  We were the only Americans in the group.

Zach loved playing "Settlers of Catan" with some of the older boys while JoAnna kept busy hopping on the trampoline.  Ellie enjoyed playing with a number of friends in the pre-school set.  It was a relaxing vacation.  But the 14 hour drive was another story! Let's just say driving through Bangkok "made us more danger" than the monkeys ever could.  It was an adventure for those of us living out in the country!

Blessings to you all

Below right: Ellie also enjoyed floating on the calm waters of an ocean bay.  She did not care for the salt water much.
Right: JoAnna also enjoyed floating.  She didn't care for waves much.

Below Right: Zach was missing his buddies.  "I'd rather be playing 'Settlers of Catan!'"

Below: JoAnna met a nice friend at the family retreat center. But she has to wait 9 years before she can go out with him!
Right: Back to the routine of homeschool.  Zach could do without studying Thai or Latin. Thankfully, cool season has come!

Below: JoAnna loves reading on the beanbag in the corner.
