Merry Christmas!!
Tebows Journal

Grandpa Sandberg (alias Grandpa Tractor) does the honors.
The chosen Christmas tree.
Dear family and friends,

We returned to the US for a vacation in December.  It was wonderful to be able to continue a holiday tradition of going out to cut a tree on Grandpa Sandberg's farm.  It's quite fun to ride in the hay wagon being pulled by the tractor.  We had hoped to have some fun in the snow, but no snow came until around Christmas, and then it wasn't very much.  We had to wait until January before the snowstorm came.

We enjoyed spending time with both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.  The kids had a great time being spoiled by all.

They also had some interesting observations about life in the US.  JoAnna couldn't believe that cars had heaters.  The kids took awhile to figure out public drinking fountains which do not exist in Thailand.  And they were surprised to have hot water coming out of the faucets.  And they were amazed that all the toilets in public places were Western style versus the "squatty potty." Needless to say, they adjusted quickly and a good time was had by all.

Blessings to you all
The Christmas tree makes it home and is all ready to be decorated.
Usually, the Christmas tree is dragged over a nice layer of snow.  But no snow this year.  it was a bit nippy though.
Grandma Tebow is the MC of our yearly Christmas progrm.  This year she was called upon to perform "White Christmas" and did so with much flair.
The cousins enjoy a good game of Indians and Cowboys against Army guys.
It's so hard to wait!!!
